Product Overview
Carbon Steel Grooved Pipes
A carbon steel grooved pipe, ERW/seamless, roll-grooved or cut-grooved ends, for mechanical coupling assembly in fire protection, water, and HVAC.
Product Introduction
Carbon steel grooved pipes are carbon steel pipes (ERW, seamless) with roll-grooved or cut-grooved ends for mechanical coupling connection (Victaulic style). They enable fast, rigid/flexible assembly without welding or threading, widely used in fire protection, water supply, HVAC and low-pressure fluid piping systems.
- Manufacturing type: ERW welded pipe, seamless carbon steel pipe
- Groove type: Roll grooved, cut grooved (per ANSI/AWWA C606)
- Surface finish: Black painted, red fire-resistant coating, hot-dip galvanized, epoxy coating
Main Executive Standards
- ASTM A795: Standard Specification for Steel Pipe for Fire Protection Systems
- ASTM A53/A53M: Black and Hot-Dipped Zinc-Coated Welded & Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe
- ASTM A106/A106M: Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe for High-Temperature Service
- ANSI/AWWA C606: Grooved and Shouldered End Steel Pipe
- ASME B36.10M: Welded and Seamless Wrought Steel Pipe Dimensions
- FM / UL: Fire protection pipe system approval standards
- GB/T 3091: Welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid conveyance
- BS 1387: Screwed and socketed steel tubes and tubular fittings
- ISO 9001: Quality management system certification
