3. Material & Grades
Common Grades
-
Commercially Pure Titanium (CP Titanium)
- Grade 1 (UNS R50250): Lowest oxygen, highest ductility, excellent formability
- Grade 2 (UNS R50400): General purpose pure titanium, most widely used
- Grade 3 (UNS R50550): Higher strength than Gr2, good corrosion resistance
- Grade 4 (UNS R50700): Highest strength CP titanium
-
Titanium Alloys
- Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V, UNS R56400): Alpha-beta alloy, high strength, aerospace & industrial use
- Grade 7 (UNS R52400, Ti-0.2Pd): Palladium-alloyed, superior corrosion resistance in acidic environments
- Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V, UNS R56320): Light alloy, tubing for hydraulic & aerospace systems
- Grade 12 (UNS R53400, Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni): Excellent crevice corrosion resistance
- Chinese grades: TA1, TA2, TA3, TA9, TA10, TC4
- Delivery conditions: Annealed, stress-relieved, solution treated & aged (for alloy grades)
